Laminar Pro - Image Editor App Reviews

Just purchased this app and it hangs on every pic. iPhone 6. Any resolution.

This app - when its working - is indispensable for lots of common pic editing tasks. Well laid out, intuitive, great results. HOWEVER; As of late basic functions seem to be glitching. For example, trying to open the Edit menu will either disappear immediately or if youre quick enough you can open one of the options, and then - it disappears. As in, you cant use any of these wonderful tools *at all*.

Awesome app but please update for iOS 8 and iPhone 6 Plus!

I feel ripped off by an app that will only spin trying to load a single photo. So I cant talk about features ... I have never seen them work!

This is a great image editor, one of the best, but its short on documentation and most important, hasnt been updated (website or app) in a couple of years. Hope the author gets back to it!

Its an ok edit app. Definitely not worth $5 though!!! Its not that bad. Has some decent preset filters and lets you later them on and edit them. Biggest disadvantage is its one of their edit apps that doesnt edit in real time. So lets say there is a level you can adjust, you first adjust/set it, and then it processes the change and shows the pic w this applies change. So everything takes a moment to process or has to stop, and refresh the pic w the new settings. If this was few years ago it would be ok but Im used to apps where you can scroll around the screen and stop when the pic looks best. Where it shows u the change right away so you know where to stop w the strength of the filer and so on.

The only advantage this app has is that it has layers. However, its still pretty sad in the selection department. Cant select or lasso for masking or partial image extracting. Good but but good enough to replace PhotoShop Touch. Too bad.

I thought I wouldnt use this app and that it wouldnt be good because of the reviews, but that is not the case. The editing tools are pretty good and the only things Id change are how slow it takes to apply the changes, the layout out the app (make it easier to use) and give the images a higher quality when editing from the start, not only at the end. Well, it has its faults but its useful.
